Position: Teradata Developer Location: Plano, TX Duration: Full-time Position Job Description: Must have: 10+ years experience with data analysis and engineering on Teradata data-warehouse and analytical platforms. Experience analyzing researching complex data issues. Extensive experience developing Teradata SQL-based ETL and analytic workflows using native utilities (bteq, tpt, fastexport). Good experience developing complex analytics dashboards using Tableau and/or similar Business Intelligence and Visualization tools. Very good knowledge of Unix/Linux shell Scripting and scheduling (like Autosys). Knowledge and experience working with CI / CD based development and deployment tools such as JIRA, BitBucket. Excellent written, proactive communication and diagramming skills. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Speaking / presentation skills in a professional setting. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player to work with global teams and business partners. Positive attitude and flexible. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changes. Roles & Responsibilities: Support the design, architecture, and development of Enterprise Information / Data Science products owned by the EDST team. Support FDIC / Liquidity Capital Ratio Entity Classification Regulatory Rules. Develop engine products for the EDST systems engineering / application development team supporting global liquidity risk management and FDIC deposits insurance functions. Utilize advanced data skills and experience with complex data analysis and reporting using SQL (Teradata). Work directly with business teams to understand requirements and develop technical solutions for data sourcing, transformation, and provisioning. Analyze data problems and identify solutions to meet business goals. Code solutions and unit tests per acceptance criteria and compliance requirements. Design and develop test suites for product/user acceptance testing. Design data quality indicators and internal controls. Serve as a proficient technical resource, capable of detailed code analysis and research. Provide technical guidance and oversee the quality of work from team members, including offshore resources. Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, demonstrating strong organizational skills. Communicate effectively to influence decisions and achieve results. Work independently with minimal supervision.
